500ml swing op bottle, thanks to Secret Santa. Dark blonde color, mostly clear. Firm off white head with reasonable retention. Aroma’s of grain, malts, (sour) fruit. Sweet malts, sour fruit, grain and spices (ginger, possibly anise) retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, caramellish, a bit herbal spicy. Medium bodied. Even being past it’s prime. It’s probably the best Hemel bier. Abijen (2571) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - OCT 18, 2013
