Pours a copper colour with a very small and thin white head. Aroma of strong apricot, citrus and malts. Flavour of apricot, malts, some floral hops and barnyard notes. Dry, malty finish. This should be more refreshing and less malty.
Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Clear, golden amber with a white to tan head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, brown sugar, nuts and licorice root. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, brown sugar, nuts and licorice root, followed by a short, slightly bitter, spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay! UPDATED: OCT 25, 2014 Brown transparent beer, big bubbly head. Nice bubbels.
Smell is warm coriander, white pepper maltiness. Citric and some very subtle fruitiness.
Taste is bready, bitter sour with a dry finish. Nice warm fizziness. Bit dry astringent bitter finish.
