Not a bad smoked beer. The smokiness apparent, but not overly pronounced. Lightly sweet, some caramel and brown sugar. Tried at the brewery on my trip to Nijmegen in 2016. Abijen (2571) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - JUN 22, 2016
Donker oranje amber bier met een goede witte schuim kraag. Ruikt gerookt, moutig. Niet te gerookt. Smaakt ook prima. Gerookt, bitter, mout.

Draught (PINT Bokbier Festival 2015, Amsterdam) - A hazy rich amber in colour. Smoky and surprisingly hoppy aroma with notes of ash, beech and peach. Nicely balanced taste with malty, smoky and hoppy notes combining to good effected. The smokiness is more subtle than I was expecting. Zlotta (3278) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - OCT 26, 2015

Sampled draft @ Arendsnest during Carnivale Brettanomyces #4. Hazy amber, orange, red fruits hued appearance with lacing white head. Nose is dull metallic with light malt, sugar, quite non-descript,… Taste is odd sugar, malty, candy, sweet malts, caramel, smoke is very low, light wood,… Med. body. A bit dull & somewhat too sweet, smoke is too low. Okay but boring and too bland. (Thanks for sharing Kermis, Maakun & tlahav).
