COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
18 °Plato

Beerhunter111 (20468) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAY 3, 2017
33cl bottle. Pours almost clear deep golden colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, straw, some honey and yeast. Taste of strong pale malt, straw, ripe fruits, yeast, some honey.

erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAR 21, 2017
Dusty herbal hops, simple malts. Pretty interesting aroma. Taste is simplistic though, with a good bubble but boring flavour. It’s okay. (Sample at the Straffe Streek market)

Amber beer with not much odor. Taste is fine but not so special. Also aftertaste is not long.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium, staying, creamy white head. Aroma has sweet malts, esters, vinious, light spicy. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, chewy, some light toasted notes. Softly vinious. A bit simple.

@zbf2016 prima bier maar niet heel bijzonder, geur is vrijwel afwezig. Wel mooi body ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Licht wazig amber/oranje bier met snelzakkende witte schuimkraag. Neus is vreemd, zoetig met lichte karamel/toffee. Mondgevoel is vol. Smaak: karamel en kruidig. Afdronk is zoet met bitterige nasmaak.

Bottle. Golden color. Soft malt and citrus in the aroma. Malty floral citric flavor. Honey in the floral finish. Decent.

330 ml. bottle sampled. BBF 20/05/17. Lightly hazy amber orange, creamy faintly off-white head. Nose is odd, intense vegetables, heavily oily mixed with some caramel & toffee not too nice. Taste is metallic, heavily oily caramel mixed with vegetables, oily almost cough medicine, herbal, medicinal, lots of butter, vegetable oil. Body is vegetable oil & some butter. Nope doesn’t work too well for me. It doesn’t feel right. First beer made at De Proef out probably hundreds that doesn’t feel entirely right to me. They have made beers that were very far from exiting or to nice but always perfectly & flawlessly on demand even if they were dull ignorable fare for me but this makes me wonder slightly. Confused about this one.
