A nice middle of the road Belgian ale. Might be good for beginners.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2003 they were flogging old bottles of this off for 4.50 which is a pretty good deal. aged, it's a helluva lot nicer - still very sweet, but not cloying or stickily so, just very smooth and creamy. tastes woody, strongly marzipanny, and vanillaish. those are some dodgy adjectives i know. Toasted Aroma, copper head, bubbles, thin, slightly sour and tart, interesting. caesar (7133) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 24, 2001

dark amber colour, fine head, some cherry aroma, very malty, bitter, very kong fruity and spicy finish - warming and very pleasant
