Belle ambrée limpide et à mousse honorable. Arômes de fruits rouges : cerise puis caramel. Bouche : fraîche, légèrement sucrée, quelques épices et une légère amertume.

As De Koninck APA. Pours a clear amber color with medium white head. Yeasty aroma, caramel, malts, slightly apple and grass. Taste follows the nose, lots of yeast, esters, caramel and malts.

From the tap at WEEVA, Groningen, The Netherlands. Pours amber, brilliant, with limited foam. Aroma is rather malty, nuts. Body is medium. Taste is relatively sweet, but also with some final bitterness. Final is average.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A shining amber clear beer with a medium off-white head ; medium retention ; ok lacing. Cereal, light caramel, rubber. Light sweet, medium dry bitter refreshing. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, roasty dry bitter finish. Overall, enjoyable ! This beer remember me "Palm" beer.

Aroma faint, sweet, caramel. Taste similar at first with slightly astringent, hoppy aftertaste, not lasting. Body thin. Not bad but too bland.

330ml bottle served cold in a stemmed chalice. A rare 5 for appearance from me for the sparkling amber body and off white head That bready Belgian yeast smell melded with a caramel malty English bitter flavour. Smooth bodied with a hint of sweetness and a long finish. Better than expected. Made me fancy a session in Antwerp.

gingertipple (34) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 21, 2016
Interestingly, this beer tastes watery from the barrel; From the bottle it is like a different drink, it has more body and flavour and deserves its title as Antwerp’s beer.

On tap @’t Brugs Beertje, Brujas 02/12/16 Color ámbar, sabor malta, levadura, cuerpo medio.

Pours clear amber with an off white head. Notes of amber malts and bubblegum with a surprising amount of hop character for a classic Belgian beer. Quite a spicy finish.
