gingertipple (34) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 21, 2016
Interestingly, this beer tastes watery from the barrel; From the bottle it is like a different drink, it has more body and flavour and deserves its title as Antwerp’s beer.

Pours clear amber with an off white head. Notes of amber malts and bubblegum with a surprising amount of hop character for a classic Belgian beer. Quite a spicy finish.

BOTTLE 33 CL as De Konick APA. Clear chestnut brown, creamy ivory head. Light and unpretentious aroma of brown sugar, a drop of fruit and some corn meal. Similar taste with a light grassy an spicy bitterness. Boring, but certainly drinkable and inoffensive.

Bamsen78 (5539) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 27, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of fruit and yeast, and mild touches of hops. Sweetish, malty and estery flavour, with notes of dust and touches of fruit, and bitter, hoppy hints. Estery and mildly acidic aftertaste. Drinkable but nothing particularly impressive.
