Bottle from Rodman’s. Pours a light to medium brown with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing. Malty aroma with some dried fruit and faint grapefruit hoppiness. Very thin mouthfeel, watery up front and a malty finish. Average. My drinking buddy said, "I’m surprised a Belgian brewery gets away with putting this out there." Not enough hops to be really called a pale ale, and not enough flavor to be really called good.
Bottle. Clear amber pour. Huge white head. Perfect retention. Aroma: grains, caramel, spicy yeast, fruit. Medium body. Light to medium sweet taste. Caramel. Pleasant spices. Light bitterness. OK. dzenkalpic (86) - TURKEY - NOV 14, 2017
Üzümvari koku. Kırmızı gövde. Çok fazla aroması ve fazalaca asidi yok, sıcak içilmemeli. Mpuntmuts (279) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 10, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2017 Red amber pour with a thin head. Mildly spicy smell. Taste of biscuits, bread, some sweet malts and a red forest fruit I can't describe. Thin to medium bodied and medium carbo. Refreshing beer. Mariox (337) - Warsaw, POLAND - OCT 14, 2017

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 A splendid offering from Antwerp. A lovely drink, a little like a bitter. Or possibly even Newcastle Brown Ale. If you drink it all evening you will be well pleased by the experience. Thank you to the Antwerp City Brewery.

Bursztynowe z ładną białą pianą. Aromat owocowy, trochę śliwki i rodzynek. W smaku podobnie finisz wytrawny. Świetny przykład belgijskiego pale ale

Amber, wit a thin white head. Aroma light, a bit plum and a bit raisin. Sweet fruit starts the taste together with some yeastiness and both fades for a balanced bitterness. Except for the color very much like a typical Belgian blond. josanguapo (1926) - SPAIN - SEP 21, 2017
At Keepers, Tomares. Malty, sweet caramel notes, very smooth feel, easy to drink. I miss a more bitter end, less mild, but its pleasant. Maybe, light cherries in nose. Good, long lasting and smooth foam thejackpacker (638) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - SEP 21, 2017
Bottle from BierLand, Belgium. A decent ale; I suppose an Antwerp ale is a mix of English Pale, Belgian Strong and APA. It has that vevelty wine taste of a Belgian strong, the palate of an English pale and some caramel of an APA. It's fine but nothing cray.
