COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial TROIS IPA (9% ABV) -- Brewed in collaboration with RUIG Bier. A double IPA, but not one of those your grandma would drink. Filled to the brim with C-hops and fermented with a yeast with an identity crises (Saccharomyces Trois, or the yeast formerly known as Brettanomyces Trois).

Small sample during Carnivale Brettanomyces ’16. Pours hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is a bit fruity with some hay and spices. Taste has some grass, hay, fruitiness and a medium bitter finish. Medium body and carbo.

Draft 0.15l at Arendsnest during Carnival Brettanomyces 2016. Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 24.06.2016. Thanks guys for sharing. Pour it hazy golden color with no head. Aroma salty, funky note. Taste sweet, too much alcohol maybe, little bit smokey, finish funky and crazy. OK

Sampled from tap at ’Arendsnest’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Slightly hazy, golden amber. Fruity, funky aroma of tropical fruits, ginger and juniper. Sourish, fruity and slightly funky taste of tropical fruits, ginger and some juniper, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly tart finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

THANKS for sharing RB people! Sampled draft @ Arendsnest during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016! Hazy orange, little white. Nose is weird fizzy, spoiled stone fruit, milky. Taste is weird moldy, overly dirty rotting brett, spoiled stone fruit, hay, herbal, bit fizzy. Far too dirty tasting for me, these yeasts that they used.

Not subtle at all. But that’s not what they were going for aparently. Hazy orange with a good head and medium carbonation. lots of flowery hops on the nose. Flavor starts a bit sweet with citrus lemon peel and overripe fruits and finishes dry resinous bitter. Very aromatic with a lot going on. Maybe a bit too much.

Hoppy aroma with resin and honey. Little cloudy golden red colour with a big head. Starts a bit sweet and than changes 180 degrees into a pinehopbomb with some hay and grass. Than gets real dry and alcoholic like campari and some radish. Very strange, but in a good way. Ends burning in ypur throat. Interesting!

Bosskie (923) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 19, 2015
Brown-amber beer, clear, nice bubbels and a white head. Smell is ipa: full citric bitterness with resin and subtle peel sweetness. Taste starts bitter fizzy, well balanced against orange sweetness, and then evolves into sticky resin, radish, terpentine. Lots happening in this beer! Dry finish.

Draft @ Brett Fest 2015. Strange smell of herbs, brett and grain. Taste is weird, with hop, brett and lots of grassy herbs and nettle. Unpleasent dry finish. Yech.

Tap @ Arendsnest. Golden color. Cloudy. Canned peach and a lot of brett in the aroma. Vegetable notes. Soft sourm very breyy flavor with citrus and brett. Fairly dry, but enough malt caharacter to hide the alcohol. Weird but decent
