Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malts and hops.
Opaque black beer with a slight/medium beige/brown head.
Starts slightly/medium sweet with malts, caramel, dark fruit and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with toasted malts and hops.
This beer is rather complex and balanced, but lacks intensity. Always sad to see if the appearance, which is perfect here, and the palate, which is great, are the best aspects of a beer. The most important factors, the aroma and the taste, are nothint more than decent here.
Draft - Piney minty notes with dark roasty notes. Jet briwn with a nice beige head. Big herbal pine and leafy notes with dark roast

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Alex and Susanne.
Black with a beige head. Roasted malts with a light hoppy aroma. Taste is medium bitter. Body is medium. Not very hoppy, maybe an older bottle, but satisfying nonetheless. orbit (102) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2017
Very nice IPA, with a beautiful colour and aroma. The taste of black IPAs are somewhat unstable however, not always the best and fullest and somewhat drabby. But this is one of the better ones! skortila (5905) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - MAY 10, 2017
Bottle from Gijs. 33cl sample. The aroma has citric hops, light roast, some tropical/pineapple tones. Black coloured beer with an off-white/beige head. The taste is moderate bitter, has some toffee sweetness, tropical fruits, roast. More dry bitter and a little velvetty finish. Easy drinking beer. Very nice. fonefan (49554) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2017
