COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To celebrate thirty years of Kaf Belgi, we collaborated with Brouwerij De Kromme Haring to make this heavy, pitch-black and unashamedly smokey imperial porter. Looking as fearsome as a barracuda, it takes some guts to dive in the water. After the plunge, the reward is a beautiful complex beer with roasted flavours of coffee and chocolate and a rich and subtle smokiness. It finishes nicely bitter and dry. Please drink at ca. 10 C ABV: 7.5% EBU: 32 EBC: 100+ 18 Plato Ingredients: Water, Malts (Pale, Rauch, Crystal, Munich, Chocolate & Roast), Hops (Williamette, EK Gold), Yeast (US05), Batch 01&02 brewed at Maximus, Batch 03 brewed at Brouwerij Troost

Clear but very dark beer with a beautiful big head. Smell is chocolate with lots of smoke. Some resin, charcoal, raisins and toasted nuts. The smoke makes it warming and rustic. Hints of fresh cheese and resin. Taste is surprisingly watery. Creamy and nice bitterness. Subtle and well balanced.
