Loved this beer. Even though i ratted out the Perennial for being low alcohol this one just had soo much flavor that it surpassed the need for a bite. One of my favorites of the year. blipp (9929) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 15, 2013
Draft at Ginger Man. Pours gold with a white head. Dry and spicy yeasty, with faint fruity notes, light earthiness, and a nice quick dry finish. Pretty good. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 15, 2013

From the tap at Sam’s Quick Stop, Durham, NC. Pours straw yellow at the bottom, honey colored at the top, with less than 1/4 inch of bright white head, and beautiful lacing. Aroma is floral and vanilla/caramel. Taste banana and flowers on the front end, alcohol on the finnish and slightly sweet. Delicious. BrewBoxer (2667) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 18, 2013

Draft at Good Dog. Hazy orange amber pour. Tight off-white foamy head. Strong bready toasted wheat beer notes off the top. Tastes of slightly burnt orange peels. Mango skins. Some earthiness. Mild caramel. Medium body. Peppery finish. Well done, but basically a mildly sharp Belgium Strong Ale. Easier drinking when cold. Bitters as it warms. Draft at Allagash tap room. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Some tangy citrus and moderate bitterness, mild bread, hints of caramel, faint pine. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish, some grassy bitterness, further bread. Decent. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body with a one finger frothy off-white head that had excellent retention. The nose is light and fruity with a prominent yeast profile and some light floral hoppiness. The flavor is rather light and airy as well, the hops and the yeast battle each other for prominence. The hops win out, but not by much. Pale doughy malt base with a hint of light caramel. Overall, this is driven by the hops, but the yeast is just as interesting to me. Lighter bodied with fizzy frothy carbonation. Pretty nice sessionable Belgian Ale.
