Hazy pour, smell has some grapefruit, citrusy, zesty, some gassy hops, sweetness, yeast spice. Flavor has a nice up front bitterness, very herbal, some interesting yeast phenols. Weird water characteristic. It is good easy drinker but some weird off flavors exist. Very sharp and crisp mouthfeel. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Bottle @ home picked up at the Wine and Cheese Shop STL opened for Malt Liquor Monday. Pours a hazy golden orange appearance with an off white head. Rustic, barnyard, somewhat grainy/herbal, orange zesty, fruity yeasty aroma. Sweet orange fruity, really nice fruity yeasty forward, very citrusy, sweet malty, herbal, straw, just a bit funky, lightly tart flavor. Delicious and easy drinking. Reminds me of a cool winter night in Bruges.
