7/II/2012 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: n/a, brewed: 15/X/11 (2012-113)

Cloudy muddy beige beer, creamy stable off-white head, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of citrus, spices, coriander, hay, dust. MF: good carbon, medium to full body. Taste: malty start, little sweet, tobacco, bitter, flowers, spices, floral hoppiness, little fruity. Aftertaste: fruity bitterness, citrus, quite some grapefruit, very bitter and dry ending. Nicely done!

Flaska frn Etre Gourmet. Det mest IPA-lika jag druckigt frn de la Senne. Fruktig, grsig, kryddig och blommig med tallskott i tten och rejl beska. Relativt torr och med rena fina smaker och pigg frsch humle. Lite krmig munknsla. Inte mycket belgostuk p denna IPA. Riktgt gott.

Tap, PP DuPont. Hazy bright lemon yellow. Nice dry bitter citrusy and grassy aroma, with some meadow hay. Tastes very similar, with perhaps some light fruit sneaking in, with a dry grassy/earthy finish. Lighter soft almost creamy body. I thought this was stellar.

Nice cloudy yellow color. Rather strawish, quite nice ! The nose is mainly citrucy and fruity (maybe grapefruit or tropical fruit), great altogether. Taste is very nice with an initial bitterness bite which is not too strong followed by a a long hoppy finish mixed with fruty notes. Very quenching ! I really like Brasserie de la Sennes products and this collaboration with Le trou du Diable is marvelous. Je conseille vivement !

Ciężko mi ostatnio trafić coś ciekawego z rodzimego rynku, a piwa od Hopestera biorę za pewniaki ;) A belgijski belgian ale nie może mnie zawieść! Piękna, pomarańczowa barwa i śnieżnobiała, całkiem spora, piana! Koronka po niej świetna. W aromacie nuty belgijskie, owoce, nieco przypraw.

Bottle bought at Geers in Oostakker. Pours hazy orange with a big white creamy head. Nose: very hoppy with exotic fruits and citruszeste. Medium carbonation. Taste: starts strong hoppy bitter with sharpness from the citruszeste and exotic fruits in the back. That sweetness doesnt stick too long and make room for again bitterness with citruszeste sharpness.

Pours a cloudy blond beer with a firm white head. Smells of hops, citrus, bit of lychee, exotic fruits. Tastes bitter. Leaves a refreshing bitter and fruity palate. Great, tasty, hoppy beer!
