Pours a cloudy blond beer with a firm white head.
Smells of hops, citrus, bit of lychee, exotic fruits.
Tastes bitter. Leaves a refreshing bitter and fruity palate.
Great, tasty, hoppy beer!

Hazy orange with a stable white head.
Fruity nose. Maybe it was the orange colour but I had at first a sweet taste quickly followed by bitterness, grapefruit and lime.
Malty but well balanced

Appearance: hazy straw with three fingers (and growing!) of fluffy white head, excellent retention and chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: lemon zest, pale malt, light horseblankety funk. (8/10) Taste: mild sweet, moderate bitter, light funk. (8/10) Medium-light body, lively carbonation, crisp dry and lightly funky bitter finish. (4/5)
An excellent Belgian Pale - crisp, bone dry, and lightly funky. Definitely reminiscent of the other three or four Brasserie De La Senne beers I’ve had. I was going to say that there doesn’t seem to be a lot of Trou du Diable character coming through here, but then that got me thinking about what (if any) defining characteristics that brewery has, and all I could come up with was: excellence. I must have had nearly twenty of their beers by now, and I don’t think I’ve rated a single one under 7/10, and they’ve reached 9/10. In particular, they excel at Belgian styles, making this collaboration particularly apt. Really good, and the rude swear word name only makes me like it more. (16/20) HULK777 (626) - - NOV 23, 2016
Aroma is grassy, floral, full of grain and herbs. Taste is grass, herbs, light bread, yeast, and buttery waffles. This beverage is a perfect balanced between fruit, bitter, and deeper notes - tasty, still fresh! Serapac (540) - CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 29, 2016
Bottle from Malting Pot. Fully clouded orange with rich white head. Aroma, pineapple, pine needles. Quite full body. Taste funkily bitter-sour, hints of apricots. Nice hoppy finish. Well done.

Bottle at Vilvordia. Cloudy yellow color, small white edge head. Aroma of grapefruit, straw, hay. Taste is bitter lemon, bread. Nice. Ibrew2or3 (8808) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAY 20, 2012
33cl bottle courtesy of sebletitje, cool a Brussels brewed beer, pouring up slightly hazy deep gold with copper hues and tall near white head. The aroma is on the nose-prickly side with some yeast and some yeasty spice and then picking up tart citrus notes and pineapple. The taste has a fresh bright yeasty spiciness as well as lemon to lime and toward sort of a peach note or two. It has a little tartness as well and finishes crisp and refreshing but not light on flavor. Nice stuff. theisti (4179) - Kansas, USA - MAR 18, 2013
~14 oz draft pour in a Lost Abbey tulip type glass at Proletariat in New York. The pour is a lightly hazed golden yellow, with a one inch white head that falls with nice coating lace. The aroma is grass hay earth, with a nice mineral edge. Overall, leafy is the best descriptor of the nose I can come up with. The taste is the same leafy dry grass straw of the nose, crisp cracker malt and the mineral in the finish. The palate is light bodied, with bright active carbonation, and a super crisp clean dry leafy mineral finish. Delicate, delicious. _angst_ (4810) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2013
Bottle bought somewhere I can’t remember. Pours hazy cloudy golden with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some soapy lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity, spicy and slightly phenolic with crackers, dry soil, hay, pepper corns, pears, grapefruit rinds, mango, pineapple, star fruit, dry soil, lemon zest, coriander and hints of pine needles. Taste is bitter, fruity, spicy and slightly phenolic with crackers, dry soil, hay, pepper corns, coriander, grapefruit juice, grass, pine needles, mango, papaya, pineapple, star fruit lemon zest and hints of lemony soap. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter and phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, dry soil, pepper corns, coriander, hay, lemon zest and hints of unripe tropical fruits. Very tasty and very refreshing! Bottle batch #2, from the Bierkoning. Hazy gold pour, with super creamy white head. Aroma is really really hoppy, piney, peppery notes, intense lemon grass. Taste is bitter, really citrusy, intense grapefruit, really bitter, really IPA-ish, with only a light belgian profile. Palate is med-full bodied with med-low carbonation, creamy. Really tasty.
