Bottle bought somewhere I can’t remember. Pours hazy cloudy golden with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some soapy lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity, spicy and slightly phenolic with crackers, dry soil, hay, pepper corns, pears, grapefruit rinds, mango, pineapple, star fruit, dry soil, lemon zest, coriander and hints of pine needles. Taste is bitter, fruity, spicy and slightly phenolic with crackers, dry soil, hay, pepper corns, coriander, grapefruit juice, grass, pine needles, mango, papaya, pineapple, star fruit lemon zest and hints of lemony soap. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter and phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, dry soil, pepper corns, coriander, hay, lemon zest and hints of unripe tropical fruits. Very tasty and very refreshing!

Bottle batch #2, from the Bierkoning. Hazy gold pour, with super creamy white head. Aroma is really really hoppy, piney, peppery notes, intense lemon grass. Taste is bitter, really citrusy, intense grapefruit, really bitter, really IPA-ish, with only a light belgian profile. Palate is med-full bodied with med-low carbonation, creamy. Really tasty.

Thanks to cfrancis for this one. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small frothy white head that covers the top. Aroma of spicy Belgian yeast, citrus, orange peel, wheat and bready malts. Taste is spicy Belgian cloves, pepper,, orange zest and a nice smooth lingering bitterness. Overall a nice smooth balanced BPA.

Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a very hazy blonde with a very large tight head and decent lacing on the glass.

The aroma has some pear, some wet limestone, a little pineapple, and some herbal hoppiness. It’s an odd combo, but it’s not dissimilar to many of the other De La Senne beers, and is in fact very pleasant the way it’s balanced.

The beer is basically pretty dry with a moderate level of bitterness. It’s got a mild funky earthiness to it and a nice bit of herbal hoppiness. The minerallity is very nice as is the mild spiciness & pineapple.

Totally similar to many other hop forward De La Senne beers, although I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out this one was done with Brettanomyces.

Draft at Chez Moeder Fontainas, mixed in one of these in between some Cantillon. Pours orange with medium head. Notes are grapefruit, lemon, wood, and pepper. Has a nice amount of hops. Body was medium with average carbonation.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with white head. Aroma is sweet, notes of strawberries but also also a bit spicy. Taste is not that sweet and the finish is bitter.

Rating #2282 - 2015.12.26 - Bottle from Willow Park. Mildly hazy, golden orange pour with a bubbly white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is yeast, coriander, and cloves. Taste is mildly sweet, herbal. Full bodied, this packs an albeit well disguised punch. Finish is quite smooth. Deliciously evil.

Bottle @ Rekvium. Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus, cold strawberry, loads of de la senne yeasty, quite fruity citrusy, light caramel malty. Good stuff.
