Flavor is nice, full bitterness in your face at the first sip. When the beer warmed up, more complex flavors start to show and beautifully combine the two characters of malts and hops teorn88 (7682) - Rimini, ITALY - DEC 21, 2014

A colabrown beer with a big and beige head. The nose has roastiness, coffee and fresh citrusfruits. Taste is strongly roasted, nice bitterness, some citrusfruits. The end is dry and roasted, coffee and some herbs. Medium bodied, quite strong carbonation. Good balance, roasted black IPA. MrHangover (4610) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - NOV 13, 2014
Bottle. Pours a rich dark brown, almost black beer with a big tanned head on top. Aroma is malty, loads of licorice and molasses, light grapefruit touches and no yeast detected. One of few Belgian beers without that yeasty aroma. Flavor is nice, full bitterness in your face at the first sip. When the beer warmed up, more complex flavors start to show and beautifully combine the two characters of malts and hops. Lovely licorice presences in the middle, followed by a caramel sweetness, all backed up by a big hoppy, bitter base flavor. Long bitter aftertaste. Very well balanced, good stuff! tricksta_p (4760) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2014
Aroma of sightly roasted malt, hint of tropical fruit, caramel, grapefruit, some coffee and chocolate, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Not the most extreme Black IPA, but definitely a nice beer. MarcoDL (5017) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 4, 2014
