Lightly hopped for the style, but nice full toast chocoo body. Well rounded and smooth, but missing a bit of edge that I like in the good examples of this style. Great label though.

The first beer of my Brussels weekend experience ordered as an apritif while waiting for food at Netnigenough. I didnt know what I had to expect from a "black IPA" and to be honest hadnt even registered the beer was from "Brasserie de la Senne". Dark colour, little head, discreet hoppy nose. Taste to me was an IPA taste with very slight coffee an malt taste. Extremely tasty and refreshing after a long walk through Brussels.
