Misty aroma of flowers, minerals, grasses and apricot.

Delicate, perfectly refreshing flavor of stone fruit and earthy yeast notes paired with feathery hop notes.

A passing creaminess mid palate leads to the stunningly dry, bright finish.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2014 Bitter is better indeed. Another quality beer by brussels finest. Great taste, fresh and surprising aftertaste. The balance between bitterness and fruit is amazing, very well balanced beer. Ace! 2014 edit: Another batch, another blend of hops. This beer is worthy of being their anniversary beer. Close to a Taras Boulba, but more dry hopping, and a more round taste. Yes!

For my 400th rating I choose this one for couple of different reasons ; it is a beer from my home town brewery, under this label they brewed their first beer, its one of the best beers from this brewery and the most solid reason is that simply it was available. 33cl bottle. Yellow and hazy liquid with medium snow white head. Nose : soap fruitiness and yeast, grains and straw. Sip : low to medium density with oily/creamy texture. Light carbonation. Very brief sweet tart start overtaken by complex bitter hops. Well balanced. Its fruity with some straw like aftertaste. Greatly refreshing. Its between "Teras Bulba" and "Jambe de bois". My favorite from the brewer.

Tap at CK. Pours full haze, glowing pineapple with a massive, volcanic head. Huge retention and massive lacing. Nose is a little delicate and relaxed- soft nuances of peach ice cream, vanilla, pineapple. Fresh linen abounds. Very soft. Taste is amazingly fluffy pineapple ice cream. Super aerated and silky palate. No soap or harshness. Grassy herbal hop balance is huge. Up front there is sugary pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew balanced by huge grassy and peppery hops. Long, bitter, pilsner like finish. sugary pineapple and peach juice up front. Huge hoppy bitterness and dryness through finish. This was one incredible experience. Wow. Had this next to fresh Taras Boulba on tap and the extra body and extra hop bite on this one is just out of this world.

Golden and citrus fruit nose with a touch of apricot and floral hops. Very dry, just a hint of cotton candy, bright juicy peach, fresh flowers and dusty yeast. Delicious.

2012 bottle next to bottle of Taras boulba. murky hay color, lighter than Taras. Really dank nose, not quite as sharp as Taras, floral rich with honey hints. Soapy flavor very balanced, biting hop leafs mid before floral calms, hints of wax and earth through the lightly doughy finish. Very balanced, more freshness.

330ml bottle at BXL East. Pours hazy orange gold with thick, foamy white head. Good lacing. Aromas of bright citrus, tropical fruits, Belgian yeast, grass, light spice and wheat. Taste is spicy, peppery and yeasty with a good bit of lemony, grassy, herbal hops. Nicely balanced and not overly bitter with a great, spritzy mouthfeel. Highly refreshing and very drinkable. Really great beer, was totally caught off guard by how good this was from first sip to last.
