COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
4 months bottle refermented with 100% Brussels Brettanomyces yeast. Amber colored with copper reflections, very fruity (pineapple and red fruits), sustained by hop flavors and complex notes of old leather. In spite of its 6,5%, its dry and bitter finish makes it a surprising thirst-quencher.

My Bottom Line:
Earthy, coniferous wilderness meets oranges and flowers in this spritzy Wild Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam laces atop the cloudy pale amber.
-Complexity and drinkability are rarely as good friends as they are in this one.
-A soapy touch seems to come from the floral bouquet.
-This might be even more pleasant (and drinkable) than Orval. Will have to try them on the same day next time.

Bottle.

33 cl. bottle at home. Bought at Arnes Bottleshop, WestMarket. Very high and long lasting creamy white head. Hazy amber body. I did not pour the beer violently but in spite of that I had to wait too long for the head to fall to a sensible level. Dusty cardboard straw barn brett aroma with fruiy hints. Brett dominated fruity flavor. Far from the acidic stuff I had expected. Actually the beer seems very dusty and cardboard like. Little hops bitterness, low carbonation, short finish. Alcohol well hidden thouh.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Liors place. Thanks to who. Cloudy orange with soapy off-white head, gusher. The aroma has notes of brett, fruity (peach, pear), some funkiness. The flavor has lots of brett, very fruity, spicy, sweet and bitterish, slightly dry. Medium-bodied.
