COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
4 months bottle refermented with 100% Brussels Brettanomyces yeast. Amber colored with copper reflections, very fruity (pineapple and red fruits), sustained by hop flavors and complex notes of old leather. In spite of its 6,5%, its dry and bitter finish makes it a surprising thirst-quencher.

Deep blond colour. strong foam. Slightly turbid, misty. Sour fudge aroma. Strong and longlasting taste. Sour and warm. Sour metallic aftertaste. A clear reference to the "geuze" beer. Very interesting, but more a brewering performance than a well-balanced pleasuring beer. A beer for hot weather, sourness will be refreshing. A beer to think about for beer-meal combinations.

Bottle taken away from BrewDog Leicester. Golden brown, cloudy with a nice white head. Tropical fruit, spicy yeast, funk in the aroma. Sweet taste with sour/funky overtones. There’s a sharp bitterness in the refreshing finish. Lemon meringue and coriander in the aftertaste. Well made and certainly worth trying.

An orval clone. Little lighter in colour, with less carbonation and more sweetness. Nice brett and citrus taste. Almost as good as the queen of trappists (orval).

330ml bottle at De Hems, Macclesfield Street. Was recommended this as an alternative to Orval and it’s certainly pretty similar. In a dark bar pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast. Peppery taste. Nice.

Bottle at ’t Brugs Brugge. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. Bretty aroma no doubt. Hoppy finish. Quite Orval like. Some biscuit sweet malt some spicy hop on the finish. Good brett throughout. Really good.

Bottle 33cl a cloudy orange beer with medium head. Nose is on brett and orange notes. Aroma is near an orval with even more bretts, barnyards notes, wet wood, peppery hops, bit lambic like

33 cl bottle - bottled on 11 februari 2016 First impression; a real gusher. It’s been a while since I had so much foam. Taste is refreshing, would recommend it for thirst quenching purposes.
