Soooooo bitter! I prefered the first crushable, but this one - for it’s low abv - is soo rich in flavor and so fullbodied for a beer that’s f*ckn close to water. Aroma is very yeasty, hoppy and refreshing. Taste is bitter, very herbal, citrussy, piney, some yeast and some grains. Long bitter aftertaste. Close to astringience. Top beer!

Bootle pours like a creamed yellow gold ale with a frothy Juan inch head. Bright fresh rustic herbs and Lemon grass hops backed by a nice dry cracker malt. pleasant Mineral presence. Moderate wet grass hop bitterness. Quite dry. Very bright dry crisp refreshing effervescent bier. Crushable saison light with less harsh bitterness and all of the flavor a jocky could ask for. Petes like hazel grace.

[ keg ][ 12oz ][ @Max’s ][ $7 ][ tulip ][ 02.17.15 ]
shimmering hay-gold, dense small bubbled white head, lacing galore. Orange zest and linen nose, crackery malt with lightly sulfuric esters. Huge cracker and pepper front palate, stinging small bubbled carbonation accenting the chalky mid, heavy minerals in the bone dry, florals and grass co-existing beautifully.

3.2
Desverger (12941) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 28, 2015
Bottle - golden pour with white head. Sweet fruity and floral aroma and taste, spices, doughy yeasts, hay, straw, nice.
