Golden, quite hazy. Aroma spicy, yeasty. Taste has some citrus, spice and a bit more bitterness at the end to be a triple. Quite dry.

A Quality triple no doubt. But is reputed to be the most bitter of the triples. And I believe it though it is not overly crazy hopped. I did not find the taste worth the calories ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very good Tripel with a hoppy bitterness, that makes it stand out from the pack, and which I liked a lot.

I can relate to the description as the most bitter tripel in Belgium. There is not much sweetness and the usual banana-chewing gum aroma and taste and the yeast and spices are also noticed to a lesser extent. It adds up quite nice.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy golden color with a large white head. Aroma of sweet pears, red apples, almonds, banana, honey, malts, yeast and some spicyness. Taste is dry with some malt sweetness and a crisp finish. Has a rather assertive bitterness throughout and pronounced spicy / peppery notes that lingers and blends nicely in the aftertaste. Also flavors of almonds, banana, some pear, yeast, white bread snd wine gums. Nice!

Not at all like other Tripels I tried in Brussels, very bitter and surprisingly easy to drink at 8% alcohol. Nice fruity complexity to accompany the bitterness and booziness; quite nice!
