Clart nette, pure, limpide.

Bottle at Sean and Rushes, Leicester. Pours cloudy yellow, with a ring of froth. Smells beautiful: lemon, wheat, Belgo yeastiness. Taste is beautifully dry; packed with lemon, which squelches; pockets of pin-prick sweetness. Beautiful mouthfeel. A delightful beer. Really tremendous.

Apsolutni hit! Blaga gorčina, aroma grejpa, visoki alkohol, osvjeavajuće. Daleko najbolji trippel kojeg sam probao.

Dense, goldenrod pour has a silvery sheen to it. The aroma is packed with fresh fruits, spices, and flowers, all golden and brown; pear, golden kiwi, dry grass, cardamom.

The freshness of this is confounding, and the interplay of the yeast with the vibrant hops and the doughy malt is a thing to behold. The rounded thickness of the body is impressive, if not as much as how wistfully dry and airy it remains at the same time.

The idea of the incredibly fresh Belgian tripel was a revelation for me, and its incredibly bittersweet to know how rare of an experience that will be.

Super tripel taki jak lubie wlasnie. Kwaskowaty wytrawny i chmielny, choc niewiele slodowosci tez tu bylo to z pewnoscia dominowaly tu cytrusy, cytryny limonki i gozka pomarancza, troche nawet zielonych oliwek. Aromatyczne o sporej i bardzo trwalej piance. Zlociste i jaskrawe do tego mocno metne. Na dnie butelki chyba z centymetr osadu. Super gozkie piwo o dlugim wytrawnym finiszu.

Malts ples lger. Palais sec et lgrement pteux.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2014 Bottle dated June 2013. Effervescent, lightly hazed amber with a tall-building white foam head. Sugar cookie Belgian Pale malt with a more moderate hop profile of grass, flowers and citrus. Medium-full body, sweet approach turning to drying, phenolic, bitter finish. Extremely clean nose, no trace of ethanol, malt is superbly soft, creamy and fine carbonation. Kind of a head scratcher that we are getting 11-month old bottles in Colorado just now (May 2014), and surprised to see its held up so well, a testament to the brewing skill at De la Senne, sure, but not all of their beers stand up to that amount of time (see Aug 2013 batch of Taras Boulba that showed up 6 months old and oxidized earlier this year).

opalescent yellow colour with small yeast particles, large head; aroma of overripe fruits, orange zest, earthy-wine cellar- and peppery notes, as well as some grape; taste is the same with some grains; very well balanced bitterness and sweetness with some spicy notes; almost perfect tripel

6/07/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 05/2012 (2011-316)

Little cloudy orange beer, huge white creamy head, adhesive with nice lacing. Pretty stable. Aroma: very hoppy, citrus, herbal, alcohol. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: sweet malts, candi sugar, some honey, citrus fruits, bitter hops. Aftertaste: pretty dry and citric ending. Alcohol noticeable.

Bottle @ home picked up at Supermarket Liquor after class. This is a grate fucken brew. Petes grate. Murky orange appearance with a lasting, spidery off white head. Some bubblegum / cotton candy notes in the aroma with some herbal hops. Medium plus body. Juicy (tropical fruits, mango, pineapple) and candy flavor but actually fairly hoppy. Well balanced. Some grassy notes but honestly an explosion of juicy fruits. Chill fucken rew. Probably a grate beer for beer pong and/or beer bong.
