UPDATED: JUN 23, 2017 On tap at ’t Brugs Brugge. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. Hoppy as hell. A little perfume. Ok malts. Hoppy finish. Really good ipa. Continued to enjoy it over the 30 mins it took to drink. Excellent

erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 18, 2017
Very amber ale with creamy beige head. Yummy amber and toasted malts with lots of character. Hops aren’t even the front running but certainly there in abundance. Loads of tasty layers here, bitter, amber sweetness. Not typical modern ipa, citrussy and all, but rather an American amber like, mixed with Belgian brewing knowledge of malts. Very good! (33cl bottle from Prik&Tik Leuven)

Mooi donker oranje van kleur met romige volle witte schuimkraag. Mandarijn, appelsien, hooi, hop, licht gistig. Mooie licht bittere afdronk. De typische De La Senne smaak goed herkenbaar. Blijft één van de betere Belgische brouwerijen.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 20 May 2017) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, fruity nose with dried apricots, orange peel and caramel. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, apricot marmalade, a touch of resin and a generous citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness.Tasty and well made, with a generous hop presence. Nice one.

Keg at Beerdock Leek. 6.8% ABV 2017 Edition. A hazy pale amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, pine, slight melon, some caramel, a little candy sugar, a hint of honey and subtle spicy hops. Taste of orange, grapefruit, resin, slight melon, apricot, a little pepper, some caramel, a hint of toasted malts, subtle honey and spicy hops. Medium bodied and a chewy texture. A long, bittersweet, honeyed and spicy fruit hop bitterness in the finish. An interesting west coast styled IPA, has Superb Belgian qualities but not overwhelming. Chewy, balanced with a long, bitter finish.
