God duft av kaffe, lakris og røykt. Fin nesten sort farge. Tynt lag skum. God smak av sjokolade og kaffe med en røykt ettersmak.

On [email protected] moeder lambic. Dark brown/ black pour, med- lge head. Smells..dark fruits, caramel malts and coffee, some hops and spice too. Tastes..coffee and chocolate malts, towards some spice and fruit elements and a almost bitter hops ending. Real nice.

Bottle into a De La Senne glass. Black with a good foamy yellow-brown head. Nice citrus hop aroma. Smooth and tasty, with zest. Tastes to me more like a black IPA than a stout. Still its nice and different for a Belgian beer. Not bad.

On tap @Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Strong roasty, some chickory and caramel aromas.Pours very dark, with nice tan head, good lacing. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is coffee, nuts, some caramel. Well balanced. Maybe a bit watery. Smooth, bitter end. Enjoyable.

Nice little stout here. Pours with a foamy mocha head and great lacing. Black. Roast malt and nut in here as well as well as some dark chocolate tones. Bitter finish and thick palate. Bottle at beerbistro.

Idiosynkrasie (8198) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 23, 2013
330ml bottle. Hazy darkest brown colour with huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, brown head. Herbal hoppy aroma, some grass, hay, very cautious hints of mint, with fading head dark malty notes appear from the background. Taste is minimally sweet dark malty, coffee notes, a touch of liquorice, dry hoppy, minimally herbal overtones.

Bardzo dobry i wytrawny stout. Czarny, metny i gesty jak smola, nieprzeswitujaca czarna i gleboka barwa. Mocna i wielka piana, czapowata i daszkowa. Drobnoziarnista. Piwo nasycone srednio dwutlenkiem wegla oraz niski poziom alkoholu jak na belgie, to same plusy bo milo dla odmiany napic sie czegos odbiegajacego od przyjetych norm. Polecam

Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Opaque brown pour with a big foamy tan head. Sweeter dry chocolate stout off the top but lots of dark leather ashy flavors in the middle. Good notes but a bit inquonsquential.

Tap at Fontainas. Dark brown, orange tints, fine milkshake head. Nice roasty nose, chocolate, coffee. Great flavors, dark chocolate, coffee, deeply roasted. Light, clean. Great falvor for such a light beer. Rich and creamy. Very nice.
