(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy, dark brown with a tall and lively, beige head leaving some laces. Weak, burned nose. Fairly light in body with burned malt accents and a surprisingly - for Belgium - malt astringent finish. 051007 madmitch76 (24791) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2011

Bottle in the Rake. An inoffensive dark beer. A little smoky. Dark malts. Semi sweet.
Nearly completely black with a very large and vibrant tan head. Aroma of alcohol and coffee. Full bodied. Flavor starts off mild, then notes of milk chocolate come through, then roasted coffee, and finally a burnt coffee finish. Very nice indeed.
