@ Nedre Mölla 19/8-14. Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma: Yeasty, fruity, notes of citrus, light hoppy. Taste: Dito. Body is light medium, the finish is dry and bitter. A bit thin overall.
330 mL bottle shared by ebone1988. The pour is a lighter foggy pale yellow with a thicker white head that falls down slowly, leaving a chunkier edge on the thick ring. Looks pretty swell. The aroma is pretty good. There is a strong yeastiness up front with a grassy citrus and a bit of lightly bitter zest. There is an earthy hop and a lingering citrus and maltiness about it. Definitely not what I was expecting. The flavor is light and clean up front. There is a good yeast balance with a touch of spiciness and a nice citrus addition. The finish is overpoweringly bitter. The earthy hop just goes down. The mouth feel is lighter bodied with a strong carbonation that I feel takes a little away. The aftertaste is lingeringly bitter and overpowering. Interesting beer. 8 4 7 3 14 ebone1988 (1931) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - JUL 23, 2017
Bottle shared with koleminer20, for the book. Bottled 5/13/2015. Aroma is wheat, yeast, hop bitterness, some spice, citrus, dry, downright decent. Appearance is hazy, golden straw, and a white head that will not leave. Taste is very bitter, zest, wheat, citrus, spice, yeast, dry, good but almost too bitter. Mouthfeel is light body, medium carbonation, bitter hop wheat and spice aftertaste. Overall, classically good but I doubt I could make a day out of this beer. June 19, 2014 - at Volo - bottle sample. Hazy light orange-gold pour with a smallish fizzy/creamy off-white head. Aroma is simple and a little sweet - honey, heather and clover, lightly spicy. Taste is grassier, less sweetness - a little mineral tang. Dry, thick, astringent mouthfeel - mild carbonation with a surprisingly long gritty floral finish. Interesting. 40 cl from tap@Ørsted Ølbar@approx 7 degrees C. Pours almost milky hazy yellow with decent white head with good retention. Aroma citrussy hoppy with notes of fresh cut grass and hay. Taste also citrussy hoppy with floral qualities and a hint of Belgian yeast. Medium to high carbonation and a good mouthfeel. Aftertaste hoppy bitter with grapefruit notes. Nice drinkable ale with reasonable ABV. garthicus (2929) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUN 28, 2017
Hazy yellow-gold with a small semi-lasting frothy white head. Aroma is yeasty and hoppy along with grain and some light fruity tartness. Flavour is slightly tart, grainy and quite herbal along with a long bitter finish. Average bodied. SylvainCFC (251) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUN 26, 2017
Clear golden hue with a thin foamy white top. Nice herbal and grassy minty nose with a fruity Belgian ester and subtle earthy bitterness. Firm tasty flavor that’s pale malty, slightly dry, bold and grassy herbal bitterness, ending with an apricot-ish fruity Belgian ester. Crisp and refreshing and grassy/minty hops. gachette78 (1) - Moulbaix, BELGIUM - JUN 17, 2017 does not count
