4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, 33cl, Geers. Max 4 months old. Pours dark golden / orange. Head is dense, shiny and white. Citrus & floral EU hop nose. Challenger I think. Touch of coriander maybe. Very spritzy and bitter upfront, but mellow in palate. Super super drinkable and session style ale. Life would be so good if this were a regular on tap brew.
Yellow, with a ring of foam. Smells like a APA - citrus hops, maybe some pineapple. Taste is light, bready malts and some subtle citrusy hops. Pretty tasty. Thanks to grownfool for this one! Stine (1795) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Bottled 10/2012. Cloudy, grayed-out orange. There’s some lemon rind, honey and light acetic acid in the aroma, which has certainly been quieted by age. It is pleasant, not piquant.

The flavor is subtle; melon, rose, dust and earth. It was probably quite bright. Now, it’s got a certain grayness to it in its more yeast-forward state.
Given this, its phenomenal dryness makes for a fully appreciable sunshine quaffer.
Bottle split at Scopey’s 5K Extravaganza of Oompah Band meets doorbell - thanks to Leighton, 15/02/14.
Lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering that retains well.
Nose is tangy orange sherbet, straw, mandarin, light spice, lemon rind.
Taste comprises tangy orange, lemon sherbet, straw.
Medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok stuff a touch better than #2 certainly in terms of drinkability. madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2014

Scopey 5K Tasting in deepest Croydonia. Thanks to Mr 5K. Hazy gold beer, big white head. Light airy palate with mild fine carbonation. Light latose. Minerals. Mild bitter floralness. Touch of citric bitterness. Finishes dry. Okay but.a bit airy.
Bottle shared at Scopey’s 5000th rate. Cheers to Paul. A vast improvement from #2 here. Hazy golden with a big white head. Nose is lemon tang, sherbert, very citric and a touch sour. Taste is clean, citric juiciness, pear, zesty and spicy with a hint of dried apple. Quite spritzy, probably a little too much. Tangy on the end works well. Not bad at all

Bottle shared at the Scopey 5K tasting - I pulled this one from the depths of the LKS cellar. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy white head. The nose is all doughy wheat, yeast, citrus. Light-medium sweet with dried dough, more wheat, mellow grassy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately drying on the finish with faint grass, more dry wheat. Nice enough. Bottle at my 5K tasting. It pours clear golden with a thick white head. The nose is doughy, grain, pear drops, apple and icing sugar. The taste is crisp, hay, light pear drops, apple, dough, grain and white sugar with a dry, bitterish finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Ho hum Belgian ale. Cloudy blond color with large head. The aroma has a rare pungency, some cellar and rubber character. The mouthfeel is dry, it’s highly carbonated; the flavor is spicy and bitter, bordering into some astringency in the ens and some chicory bitterness.
