probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 22, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2016 330 ml bottle shared by asheft (thanks!). Deep garnet with a huge, loose, light tan head. Sharp sting, golden raisins, apricot, lighter Belgian esters, licorice (almost minty), a little honey-like sweetness, moderately boozy, medium+ body, somewhat relaxed carbonation with some fine prickly bubbles, somewhat sweet, low-ish bitterness and a fairly fruity finish. A bit of a different take on a Tripel.

asheft (3062) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 22, 2016
Bottle. Cinnamon, faint golden raisin, pungent aroma with some apple juice and dried apricots. Slightly hazy garnet under a huge, tawny cover of large bubbles that drops quickly to a patchy cover. Sweet, sugary flavour with light dried fruit (apricots, golden raisins), low bitterness, and an almost dry finish. Not very complex, despite the dark colour. Medium light body, very high carbonation that is mouth filling. Not quite crisp.

Idiosynkrasie (7419) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 4, 2016
330ml bottle. Moderately cloudy, reddish brown colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, slightly lacing, sulphureous beige head. Fruity, dark malty aroma, notes of red and blue berries, corresponding shrubs, hints of chocolate, a sugary touch. Taste is dry, dark malty, moderate hoppy and roast malty bitterness, fruity hints of red and blue berries, a dry touch of fruit parings, vestiges of alcohol in the minimally warming finish.

imdownthepub (14440) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2016
Bottled, 330ml at Cambrinus Brewhouse, Bruges, West Flanders, Belgium. Black with cream head. This is quite a sweetish beer along with a fruity background. Plummy but well balanced and quite rich. Pleasant alcohol notes. Pretty decent.

McSherman (668) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 4, 2016

Calisky (2916) - ALSACE, FRANCE - MAY 2, 2016
75cl, récupéré a Renaix. Couleur brune sombre, bonne mousse beige. Nez fruits noirs, fruits rouges aigres, levures belges. Gout fruité rouges-noirs vieux pas commun, avec levures, aigreur, malt grillé et note candy et alcool. Corps très pétillant. Fin longue amere, avec du grillé et fruité aigre. Vraiment pas commune, pas mal .

Bottle. Low but lasting fluffy white head. Pitch black body. Mild roasted malt coffee caramel aroma and flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness, low caronation and a short finish. Alcohol nicely hidden.

Peu de nez, fort mousseuse, peu goûteuse, trop alcoolisée par rapport au goût. OK pour la reboire car elle reste agréable mais sans intérêt particulier.
