Opvallende hopsmaak, zoals een lichte ipa. Licht gebrande smaak. Niet te zoet, misschien een klein beetje te weinig body / beetje te waterachtig. zvikar (6349) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - APR 24, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Vova. Pours red to brown with a nice beige head, aroma is slightly sour with chocolate and fruits, flavor of oxidation with fruits and alcohol, carbonated, medium bodied. DSG (15119) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 23, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks Vova. Brown-colored with a beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, some dark fruits, sugary notes and yeast. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, yeast, fruitiness, some roastiness, a bit of alcohol and a finish with some bitterness. Medium-bodied. Strong carbonation. JLDC (85) - NETHERLANDS - APR 21, 2014
Colour: black, like coffee. Thin beige head.
Nose: Sweet coffee, roasted nuts, hints of sugar and chocolate.
Flavours: Bitter, roasted almonds, hints of mint. After dinner coffee.
Finish: long, dry, bitter with hints of chocolate again.
Verdict: Very strange Tripel. Nicely done, but it tries too much to be unique. ST247 (494) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - APR 20, 2014

Bottle 330 ml at home, into a tulip glass. ABV 8.5%
Deep mahogany colour on the body, clear, with two fingers of light beige head sitting on top. Thick density, great retention. Medium lacing left on the glass.
Aroma is fruity, mostly red fruits, some yeast, some funk, a bit of lemon zest (soft drink like).
Taste has lotsof yeast at first, moderate sweet, then the funkiness is coming forward, red fruits too, along with a moderate bitterness on the finish and on the aftertaste.
Medium body, carbonation on the high side.
Overall a good one, I’d like more fruit character in this one. BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2014
33cl Bottle opened at home on 4th March 2014: poured carefully into a Westmalle chalice.
No sediment appeared to leave the bottle (I had stored it for some months) so I got a clear, red beer with a thinning tanned wisp in my chalice, it looked clean and inviting, even though the head could have held longer.
Sweet malty molasses vie with yeast esters for attention in the nose, dark fruit notes in the background play along.
The taste is also malty, semi-sweet and with a dark fruit feel, mild hop presence balances the brew but the body seems thin and watery considering the ABV it carries. It almost turns ’Cola’ in it’s mouthfeel, a bit fizzy, with a ’Dandelion and Burdock’ hint or two.
Not a huge disappointment, but not far off. keeszorge (29) - - MAR 1, 2014
Mooi donker bier met volle schuimkraag. Koffieachtig met cola geur. Vol en pittig. Aanrader!
