Bottle, 10%. Good vinous malt aroma, hint of bread. Hazy amber colour. Small frothy white head. Good malty flavour, slightly creamy. Sweet and with a hint of warming alcohol. Good, but a bit weak for ABV. SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - SEP 3, 2008
Bottle: Poured a orange brown with a thin white head. Aroma is fruit and spice. Taste is a nice sweet fruit, the alcohol level is very well hidden. note666 (1315) - Eindhoven, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2008
300 ml botlle. hazy orange golden colour. off white, fading, head. nice spicy taste. 10% not to noticeable. ha1ag (951) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 9, 2008
Bottled in Take One in Mestreech. Dark hazy amber color, beige head with nice lacing, Nose is yeasty and arome is like orangepeel. Flavour is sweet with orange, spicy and low bitterness. A bit too thin for a winterbeer of my taste. Not bad. TBone (18398) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 22, 2008

Thanks bierkoning, Edo! Hazy orange nut-brown color, small off-white head. Glue-like grainy aroma. Sweetish, toffeish, diacetylic flavor. Liquerish palate. Feels almost infected. It doesn’t feel 10 % either.
Bottled. Hazy orangeish nutbrown colour, not much head. Aroma is very glueish alcohol, yeast, raisins and fruits. Flavour is very sweet fruits, malts and quite glueish. The alcohol is very disturbing in this one. pivnizub (10844) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - MAR 8, 2008
Bottle: Hazy, orangey colored, "dirty" small foamy layer; moderate grainy-toasted-malty nose with shy orangey traces; moderate sweet, a bit tart flavour, medium bodied; sweet-fruity, a bit tart, too, finish. All in all a quite weak example for a 10% ABV beer......... Ober (2811) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - JAN 24, 2008
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2009 A dark amber colored beer. A nice smell, light caramel, maybe raisens. A creamy head, not large. The taste is toffee like and you als taste the alcohol oberabcbbsok (693) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - JAN 22, 2008
Different from most of the winterbeers.
Bottle at Pint Winterbeerfestival at Gouda. A taste of choclate and caramel, and some alcohol. A mild aftertaste. goozen (4150) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JAN 5, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 17, 2009 Drunk this on tap under the currant name, must say this better than the bottle version.
Bottle 0,3ltr: Winter ales supposed to be warm and spicy and have some roasted malts, maybe use some of chocolate and caramel, but this one don’t have it all. 2.8 score
