(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 22 Feb 2017) Reddish amber colour with dense, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of toast, grain and dried apricots. Malty taste with caramel, orange peel, brown sugar and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, but hardly exciting. Quite enjoyable.

Light brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some caramel and malt. Fairly light bodied. Some light bitterness in the finish.

0.25 l bottle from AH (Sittard), best before September 2017. Clear, reddish brown with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, nuts and some chocolate. Sweetish-malty, minimally roasty taste of caramel, nuts, some brown sugar and a touch of chocolate, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, not too sweet with a roasty touch.

Body is medium, zacht mondgevoel, weinig koolzuur. De afdronk is bitterzoet....niet te zoet. Mooi in balans. Best Bockie!

Mooi biertje ! Ruikt zoet. Smaakt prima, met lekkere kruidige nasmaak. Kan niet zo goed zeggen wat precies..

Nice red amber pour. Warm tones of caramel, and a surprising bitter aftertaste. Only the subtle metal taste is not that tasteful

Bottle at home. It pours a beautiful clear red copper to almost dark chestnut with a thin white moussy head. Aroma of sweet malts, bread, hints of red fruit, rosehips (without the metal though!), caramel, hops. Taste of malt, caramel, quite hoppy, light yeasty with a citric edge. Nice light carbonation to a beautiful creamy silk mouthfeel, light bittersweet aftertaste. A very nicely balanced light sweet and bitter bock, and organic too! Not bad at all!
