Cuvee Jeune Homme is an oak-aged bitter beer. Originally it had a slight citrus-bitterness due to its 4 hops and the subsequent dry hopping. It is acidified while it ripens for 4 months in oak wine casks. The daring bitter-sour combination is moderated by this ripening process and as a consequence it is a very pleasant drinking beer.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, sugar, hops, yeast. Re-fermented in bottle.

Trübes Goldorange mit relativ wenig Schaum. Malzig, reichlich Kekse, etwas Essig, säuerlich, fruchtig, Zitronenschale, Rhabarber, sehr süffig.

0.33 l bottle from '', best before January 2021. Clear, golden amber with a thin, foamy, almost stable, white head. Just slightly sweetish, rather sourish, moderately fruity and a bit funky aroma of lemon, rhubarb, oak, some vinegar and a touch of gooseberry. Quite sour, moderately fruity and and a little funky taste of lemon, vinegar, oak, gooseberry and rhubarb, followed by a medium long, rather tart, woody-dry finish. Medium body, quite astringent and rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite sour but still in a pleasant way, a touch too much vinegar for my liking. All in all a refreshing thirst-quencher even if it required me to getting used to it!

hazy golen to orange colour, medium sized off-white head; aroma of vinegar, wine cellar, barnyard, intensive tannins, earthy and slight acetone notes; taste is the same with intensive sourness and surprising sweetish aftertaste; great one!

Pours a hazy darkish orange-gold, with some filmy lace and white foam that recedes to a thin layer. Tangy, tart-fruit-candy and vinegar nose (acetobacter), with underlying vanilla and cinnamon oaky notes. Tastes mostly tart, like fresh-squeezed citrus, complemented and given depth by a mellow bitterness. Fairly lively, medium body, lingering tangy, bitterish aftertaste. A little rough around the edges but relatively drinkable for it is. Fun beer.

In der Nase mal wieder ein Baby Oude Gueuze ohne Fehl und Tadel. Im Mund dann kräftig verPEACHBRETTet, aber auch saisonig yeasty und einfach nur lecker SOUR!!! Klostein & fäkaler Stallmuff selbstverständlich inklusive!! Love it!!! 0,33l Buddel vom Brauereistand beim ZYTHOS 2017. Ich glaub, schlappe 12€ der Mischsechser...muß Ratty fragen!!! Das wäre so heeeeftig ✨👌👽😀

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is dry sour-ish, oak, mild vinegar, grass, minerals, unripe berries, bark, grain, spices, old cellar. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, sorrel, oak, alcohol, mild vinegar, unripe berries, grass, citrus acid, bark. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

LIBF2017. Kolor pomarańczowy, mętny, na powierzchni piwa, przez krótki czas dryfuje biała piana. Nie jest zbyt wysoka, zbudowana z drobnych i w przeważającej większości ze średniej wielkości bąbelków. W aromat wycziwalna kwaśność i wytrawność. Nuty octowe, owocowe, jabłka, białe winogrona. Brak tu akcentów dzikich i tych pochodzących od beczki, w której to piwo leżakowało. Smak kwaśny, wyraźny. Co ciekawe moc, siła kwasu słabnie w czasie spożywania tego trunku. Finisz jest już zdecydowanie mniej kwaśny ale z kolei bardziej dziki. Pojawiają się akcenty brudne, ale jeszcze nie wiejskie, jest kminek z kwaśnego pieczywa. Wysycenie średnie, pasuje
