Cuvee Jeune Homme is an oak-aged bitter beer. Originally it had a slight citrus-bitterness due to its 4 hops and the subsequent dry hopping. It is acidified while it ripens for 4 months in oak wine casks. The daring bitter-sour combination is moderated by this ripening process and as a consequence it is a very pleasant drinking beer.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, sugar, hops, yeast. Re-fermented in bottle.

In der Nase mal wieder ein Baby Oude Gueuze ohne Fehl und Tadel. Im Mund dann kräftig verPEACHBRETTet, aber auch saisonig yeasty und einfach nur lecker SOUR!!! Klostein & fäkaler Stallmuff selbstverständlich inklusive!! Love it!!! 0,33l Buddel vom Brauereistand beim ZYTHOS 2017. Ich glaub, schlappe 12€ der Mischsechser...muß Ratty fragen!!! Das wäre so heeeeftig ✨👌👽😀

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is dry sour-ish, oak, mild vinegar, grass, minerals, unripe berries, bark, grain, spices, old cellar. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, sorrel, oak, alcohol, mild vinegar, unripe berries, grass, citrus acid, bark. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

LIBF2017. Kolor pomarańczowy, mętny, na powierzchni piwa, przez krótki czas dryfuje biała piana. Nie jest zbyt wysoka, zbudowana z drobnych i w przeważającej większości ze średniej wielkości bąbelków. W aromat wycziwalna kwaśność i wytrawność. Nuty octowe, owocowe, jabłka, białe winogrona. Brak tu akcentów dzikich i tych pochodzących od beczki, w której to piwo leżakowało. Smak kwaśny, wyraźny. Co ciekawe moc, siła kwasu słabnie w czasie spożywania tego trunku. Finisz jest już zdecydowanie mniej kwaśny ale z kolei bardziej dziki. Pojawiają się akcenty brudne, ale jeszcze nie wiejskie, jest kminek z kwaśnego pieczywa. Wysycenie średnie, pasuje

Vill & Syrlig 2016. Unclear golden body with a white head. Aroma of forest, bread, lemon. Taste is tart with dough and grass, light sourness, sweet lemon finish.

Pours with very little foam. Color is dirty, mead like. Aroma is fruity and sour and has some alcohol and yeast also. Hard to pick aromas, but the aroma is okay. It reminds of some hard liquour or aperetif. Palate is dryish and a bit watery. Taste is sour and has a pronounced "lactic acid" overall taste. There’s also a clear "bitter ale" component to the taste, so it tastes somewhat like a mix of sour beer and bitter ale. The taste is mainly just sour and the overall taste reminds of a tanninic red wine that has some water added to it. Generally it tastes like a typical sour beer does. The sourness is quite controlled and elegant even though. It’s a well made sour beer. It’s perhaps a bit boring in the taste complexity. The etiquette is surprisingly descriptive of the feeling of this beer. Because it feels like and uncomplicated enough, but still elegant enough to be enjoyed by that kind of engineer-looking guy after work day. This is not your ordinary "market beer", but it’s not too complicated in order to serve "any day" drinking.
