bierkoning (13491) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 4, 2010
Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Grassy citric aroma with hints of vegetable. Thinnish, alcoholic and citric flavor with hints of yeast and grass. Longish lemon aftertaste. Decent.

DruncanVeasey (8260) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2010
Bottle from Dranken Geers. Pale yellow with a skid of white foam. Watered-down banana and Madeira cake aroma, joined by a decent tang of orange peel-inflected hop as it warms. A bit vapid and tiresome, with lots of alcohol but little personality emerging; a wisp of honey, a whimper of banana, an apology of almond and it’s done.

Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - SEP 5, 2010
Pours out golden, light orange. A bit cloudy. Small to medium head, colapses quick. Smell is earthy, citrus, spices, yeast, abricot. It’s ok... Taste kicks in pretty hard, the alcohol isn’t hidden at all. Drinkeable, but won’t buy it again probably... Way to simple, plain.

[email protected] Strong pear aroma. Rather sweet triple with pear and apple, alcoholic. Not bad but not my cup of tea.

armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 13, 2010
Draught at the brewery’s pub.
Hazy golden body with a fine white lacing head. Mild sweet fruity aroma, some toffee and caramel, some belgian yeast character. The flavor is similar as the aroma with nothing so special. Easy hop in the finish.

MoritzF (10025) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JAN 17, 2010
(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Sweet cara-malty and grainy aroma with notes of biscuits, citrus and vanilla. Bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied with a calm carbonation. Pale malty, slightly biscuity taste with a restrained fruit-character and a slightly harsh alcoholic note; bitter and slightly sweet and hoppy alcoholic finish. Lacks balance. 15.I.10

harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2009
33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Gold with lots of mid sized white floaters and thick off white head. Moderate slightly sweet fruit tripel aroma. Not very yeasty or tripel fruity. More sweet and toffee than anything else. It’s alright, just a little bland and lacking any real character. Some hop sting on finish.

Golden blond. Thin head. Intense carbonation. Sweet honey-like flavour. Fairly thick, syrupy texture. Sticky sweet aftertaste.
