Bottle at home from DeBierkonig, Amsterdam, 10th February 18. Pours black and a tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste is smooth, dry, chocolate, rich but not overly sweet. No pink pepper evident, but a really good impy from the Stout Engineers

Top!

Bottle shared. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, green coffee, cocoa, fruity notes and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and above moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is roasted malt with plenty of coffee, cocoa nibs, coffee grounds, mocha, dark chocolate Don't get much pepper, if any... Flavour is sweet and medium bitter. Body is full. Another beautiful Moer, lots of coffee and chocolate here. These guys just keep on delivering.

Bottle from Drinks & Gifts ofcourse, batch & BB is 1022 and/or 1770, yeah sure, give us a puzzle to solve. Dark color, short frothy lacing. Aroma of a beautiful thick RIS with some coffee notes and cacao nibs. Dry cacao nibs in flavor as well, roasty and dark bread, molasses, coffee. Pink pepper doesnt add a lot, it only perhaps strengthens the flavors. Moersleutel hits those RISses time after time. Well done!
