Bottle at home, pours opaque deep ruby-black, with no head at all! Aroma is peat, smokey, licorice; the choco I don't get at first, only later. Taste: ah, there's the choco; fully sweet, whisky-like, with a bitter aftertaste. No carbo, oily mouthfeel, full body, alcoholic. Again a very nice beer, a tasty RIS, with a clear BA element, but some points deduction because of the total lack of carbo.

Appearance: Very dark brown, near black. Flat, almost no head.
Aroma: Dark malt, roasted, slight peat.
Taste: Peat, but not too much. Dark malt, roasted, some sweetness. Not too much barrel. Not that complex, but hides alcohol well.
Bought: Trade with tricksta_p - thanks!, 375 ml

Fles van het Biermoment. Sojasaus, wat turf en nat hout. Geen koolzuur, dik, geroosterd. Turf is redelijk in balans. Zeer smakelijk, ondanks de minor flaws

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2017 Aroma: 7 Medium aroma of malts, caramel, wood, vanilla, chocolate, mocha, roasted malts and coffee. Appearance: 5 Opaque dark brown/black beer with medium yeast and with a slight dark brown head. Taste/Palate: 8/4 Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, vanilla, chocolate and mocha; ends slighlty bitter and medium dry with roasted malts and coffee. Overall: 16 This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Very dark Imperial Stout with loads of roasted malts and coffee. This is probably thanks to the peat, but there is no trace of peat itself. Slight amount of wood and vanilla, helping the bold finish. The appearance is perfect and the palate is great as well, but the aroma could have been stronger.
