180 CL bottle Courtney of Papsoe, old ass trade Black with ruby highlights, jet black in glass. Light tan head. Nose is roasted malt, roasted grain, jammy dark fruits and soft oak. Slightly earthy nose. taste is slight oxidation and jammy fruits. Little bit of oxidation in the taste but still has held up well. A little thin and light carbonation but holds its own quite well.

Vintage bottle , big thanks to Dennoman for the epic FULL 18CL VINTAGE BOTTLE TASTING :D , Thanks again my friend !

Aroma : vanilla, sweet, smells more like a barley wine than an imperial porter, slight oxidation
Taste : caramel, malts, little bit of roasted malts ( phieuw,, finally some porter flavours :p ), nice oakey features, good but i think the best flavours have allready faded pretty much.

Bottle @ home w friends/the chef. Appearance: pours clear black with ok soapy neige head and lacing. aroma/taste: chocolate, oak, liquorice, alcohol and dark fruits. palette strong roasted malty aroma, low to average carbonation, full body, notable sweetness, somewhat balanced by an average bitterness, long duration and an oily texture. Overall:very nice roasted stout with some fruity notes.

Bottled, 18 cl, 666 bottles made. Cant find any more info, but I think it’s about 3 years old. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma is quite typical old style de Molen dark imperial stuff, lovely chocolate, some roast but not much, bit coffee, sweet toffee, some vanilla. Wow, absolutely stunning. Just like the best of imperial stouts (or porters) smell. Bit sweet, bit dry astringent in the roast and coffee. Chocolaty, velvet, slight boozy. Aroma is fantastic, taste is a bit too dry for me, could have used slight more sweetness. But it’s an absolute treat, world class stuff.
