SonOfAnarchy (585) - ST HELENA - DEC 11, 2017
330 ml bottle. Dark amber/ruby in the glass, with a very low to no foam. Aroma is quite vineous, dry, with notes of warm alcohol, rich red fruits, a touch of wooden barrel. Taste is definitely dry (with a sweetish aftertaste though) with medium to high bitteness. Flavors of red wine, red fruits, raisin, malt, caramel, slightly smokey in the throat, with a touch of wooden barrel. Medium body, watery and a bit oily texture, average flat carbonation. Very complex taste, though I could say it's overcomplicated at times.

Rich full estery aroma of red fruitines with some oranges and bit of wooden barrel in the background. Dark ruby in the glass with a minimal head. Taste is semi sweet with notes of raisins, red fruitiness with some hints of smokiness, wooden barrel, caramel and gentle touch of oranges. Very complex and drinkable with well-hidden alcohol. Nice one.

Heavy sweet with backside saltiness, also light to moderate smokiness. Last is sweet, salty and cheesy. ABV unnoticeable. In overall there are for sure salty, wineish with nice smokey touch. I treat it as experimental brew. Very specific.

Color naranja amarronado, opaco debido a su turbidez, sin espuma (alguna burbuja grande que se disipa al instante). Carbonatación suave. Textura oleosa. Aroma ahumado, acaramelado, ligeramente especiado, licoroso. Fruta madura, caramelo, mucho ahumado, especias, licor. No capto nada salino. Final ahumado y ligeramente licoroso. Un desastre.

Kleurplaatje (213) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 19, 2017
Pours hazy brown, minimal head and slight residue. Nose is smoke and peat. Some caramel notes, but its predominantly peat. Taste is sweet. Clear caramel, vanilla, smoke and peat. Spicy, yeasty, fruity (overripe fruits). Bourbon notes, some notes of gin as well... Love it. A true explosion of complex flavors. Full bodied, low carbonation. Would love to see this one aged to (further) perfection).

Interesting experiment - peated with dry fruit notes. Same on the pallet with barely noticable saltyness and some alcohol warmth.

330ml bottle. Thanks to restaurant Harmonia! Pours amber colour. No head. Strange, but smoked sprats come into mind then talking about the aroma of this beer. Ok. Smoke. Lots of bourbon. Peat. Slight sourness. (Aroma). Caramel. Smoke. Caramel. Berries. Sourness. Apples smoke. Smoked wood. Burnt caramel. (Taste). Smoke in the aftertaste. Apple wine as well. What to say? Quite confused. Bit amazed as well.
