3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden, huge pale head with solid lace. Great fruity nose, malt sweetness, grapefruit, white pepper, little banana, canned peach and Belgian yeastiness, lovely Chouffe-like notes! Flavor is similar, grapefruity hops, a tad chalky yeasty, pale malt, slight spritzy tartness. Soda-like attacking palate, not at all watery though. More a good hoppy Belgian than bitter to me, though slightly too yeasty despite a careful pour.
On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome), several years ago. Ambrata scarica, schiuma bianca media. Al naso è una bitter con luppolatura americana, base di malto (biscotto, toffee) con note di arancia rossa e frutta esotica. In bocca è bilanciata, attacco dolce con un bell'amaro finale. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Buona. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - JAN 30, 2016

Aroma has toffee, some fruity notes and hints of peaches. Flavour has citrus, some grapefruit, toffee and hints of grain. Palate is a bit watery. Nice aroma but that just isn’t enough when the flavour is flat and stuffy.

Bitter senza mezze misure, il luppolo tira calci come un mulo. Forse aveva preso un colpo di calore? Io però le pesche non le ho sentite... SilkTork (5807) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2011
Craft Beer Co. opening night. Keg. I was handed this by Chris, and as I drank it I noted that it tasted stale - he said it was a keg. Figures. This tastes like a dirty lager with some spice. It’s ugly stuff. madmitch76 (25382) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2011

On tap at Craft Beer. Finally caught up with one after 2 years! Yaay! Hazy gold beer with a little white head. Softish palate but with a trailing edge of crisp fine carbonation. Banana sweetness with a little sharp peach providing a nice counter balance. Creamy and semi dry finish. Nice and a great flavour for it’s abv!
Keg at The Craft Beer Co., Clerkenwell, London. Hazy gold with white head. This has a pronounced Belgian Yeast note, quite fruity, bright, tangy, lots of pulpy peachy notes, summery and really very drinkable. Very decent. Leighton (22072) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 29, 2011
Keg at Craft Beer Co. Slight hazy golden amber with a mild white head. Yeasty nose, hints of peach, some wheat. Tangy flavor, sweet with bits of honey, zesty yeast, slight grassy bitterness. Medium in body with average carbonation. Fruity, wheaty and yeasty finish. Some bubblegum. Very nice.
