Bought @ De Caigny. Did already have some time to age. Taste blends well. Coffee on the foreground. A tad sweet soy sauce. Palate is nice thick. Nice.

33cl bottle at home, bought at Just in Beer. Appearance: pitchblack with medium beige head. Aroma: strong coffee, cacao, dark chocolate, coffee grounds and some earth. Taste: pretty high sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of cacao / cacao nibs, coffee, dark chocolate, earth. Palate: medium bodied, velvet to sticky texture and soft carbonation. Intense, but very tasty.

Bottle from Bierkoning, thanks Eddan. Almost black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, dark malt and some light cocoa. The same in the taste, also some dark fruit. Medium sweet and with a medium bitter finish. A nice one to sip.

Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, dark malt, coffee, coffee beans. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee, sweet malt, sweet coffee, dusty. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160923]

33cl bottle from Be Hoppy, Madrid and enjoyed at home in Amsterdam on 21-May-2017. Dark brown (almost black) in colour with a small beige coloured head. Aroma of cocao nibs, malt and pine. Full body and medium carbonation. Taste is sweet with light bitterness; caramel, chilli, dark chocolate and coffeee. Bittersweet finish. An excellent imperial stout.
