Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, thick solid white head. Aroma of fruity hops, peach, mango, pineapple and some unfermentable sugars. Flavor is sweet fruity hops, fruity malts, typical De Molen yeast and nice bitter hops in the finish. Nice balance, nice texture, decent carbonation. A welcome good old IPA from the Molen. From tap at de Molen. Pours hazy orange with a small to medium white head laving nice lacing. Aroma is very fruity with grapefruit, mango, hops and some caramel. Aroma becomes a bit more grassy after while. Taste has red fruits, grapefruit and a nice medium bitter finish. Medium body and carbo. Wel balanced and very drinkable IPA, nice stuff. Thanks to Tim for sharing! Pours a glowing hazy orange with a large tan head. The smell is citrus, caramel, some pine as well. The taste is crisp citrus, caramel, pine ending slightly bitter. Body is light/medium with slightly above average carbonation. A nice citrusy brew. McNeillR (2322) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 3, 2013
Gorgeous vibrant orange, floof of a lasting white bubbly head. Nose is orange boiled sweet - inviting and satisfying at the same time. Up front hop brush, lovely light feeling carbonation for the ABV and a juicy crunch towards the finish. Doesn’t trip over itself in terms of citrus or bitterness, very Kernel as Mr Garvie commented. Could do with packing much of a punch on the finish, but superb otherwise.armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 15, 2013
Bottle from Brewery, thanks CAGarvie
Bottle as a gift, thanks Balazs;-)
Poured hazy golden with a nice creamy head that leaves fine laces on the glass and surface. Blanaced aroma with a bit of brett, grass and pine, some lactic acid, honey. Medium body but nice mouthfeel, lively carbonation that brings grass and pine, some grapefruits and brett, light lactic acid again with some tropical fruits. Bittersweet aftertaste with lactic feeling on the tongue. Nice, interesting.
