thirstyrabbit (1791) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 31, 2013
Small bottle. Already 3 months old but the label claims it will be fit for "enjoying" within 2 years. Murky orange body with a small foamy head. Aroma has tangerines, fresh cucumber and cream. Thick and sticky mouthfeel. Taste starts fruity sweet and stays like that. Tangerines, hay, milk, weak and lagery Saaz hops. Not as bitter as an Imperial IPA needs to be. Flat again like the bottle of Hel & Verdoemenis I just had.

Braastad (459) - FINLAND - MAY 31, 2013
Orange color with little chill haze. Fresh aroma of tropical fruits, orange. Aroma if full and malty with also fruity hop flavor and just a little crazy de molen twist. Palate is smooth and full. Not that bitter, although the aftertaste is little dry. Really good.

Erasmus_ro (2737) - Alabama, USA - MAY 26, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2013 Bottle, 25/05/13. Pours a hazy orange with a medium, white head. Aroma is perfumey, fruity, grapefruit and lemon as well as lemon peel. Taste is somewhat yeasty, caramel, nettles, a lot of grapefruit, quite bitter, lemon and lemon peel on finish. Fruity aftertaste. Palate is alright, quite carbonated. Could do with less of the perfuminess and fresher flavors.

Hazy orange, white head. Nose is malts, caramel, hops, orange, grass. The taste is warm malt, some slight sweetness, grass, oranges, bitterness, boooze and pine in the hoppy finish. Boozy aftertaste. Medium body, smooth carbonation, oily palate.

Valgreen (768) - DENMARK - MAY 25, 2013
Bottle on the way to cph beer festival, 25 / 5 2013. Bottled 10/12/12. Opaque orange, small white head that quickly disappear, leaves small ring of foam around the edge. Some lacing. Oily look. Piney hops dominate the aroma, some citrus and straw, bit of alcohol. Taste starts of sweet, then quickly turns hoppy bitter. Notes of pear/peach fruitiness. Leaves a bitter aftertaste. The palete is a bit oily, nice carbonation.

Medium sized tan head with good retention and sticky band of lace. Amber/copper hued brew. Nose of spicy hops and sweet malts, maybe a hint of wet straw. Body is med/full with a soft carbonation, oily, a bit too much so, very coating on the palate. Sweet malts,, lil toffee and a light mustiness. Wet grass and some iced tea notes as well. Sweet finish, lil cidery/vinegary. Old bottle. Props to stumpyiliz for the bottle.

worldbeertaste (1800) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2013
Hazy medium brownish orange with a beige, frothy, thick, nice lacy, lasting head. Smells of fruity hops with nice citrus - grapefruit and mango and pine with a nice sweet and caramel malt. Some alcohol in the background with yeast. Full, oily body with no carbonation. Starts out sweet with a bitter hoppy peppery finish and a sweet aftertaste of honey. Alcohol is present and warms the tummy. Very full and bitter IPA that adds a good level of sweetness to a generous amount of hops. Sweeter than most

Marduk (6903) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 13, 2013
330ml bottle. Clear dark amber color. Small off-white head. Fruity, mango, honey melon, floral, sweet notes in aroma. First sip is bit too sweet, but second one makes my saliva glands to explode! Ziljon different tropical fruits invade my mouth, hiding all that 9,2% of alcohol so perfectly. Sweet bitterness in aftertaste. Brilliant beer!

jgb9348 (5991) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Deep hazy copper coloured body with a bright orange tint and a super thick, luscious seven centimetre tall tan head - nice! Aroma of alcohol, earth, caster sugar, grapefruit and a bunch of herbal notes with a touch of honey. Full-bodied; Strong assertive sweetness with a good lightish hop finish and a good malt backbone. Aftertaste is strong with honey, malt, alcohol and a light hop flavour. Overall, a nice imperial ipa with less emphasis on hops and more on sweetness and body. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 09-June-2012 for US$6.20 sampled at home in Washington on 11-May-2013.
