Copper color with rich off- white foam head, lacing to glass. Aroma is bitter hops, taste is somewhat sweet on the contrary, strawberry? Short sweet aftertaste. (Bodegraven 201304) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells like days gone by (not yore, this isn’t some medieval schtick), a childhood of endless summers, sticky black Tarmac, hunting for grasshoppers in the long grass. Tastes like sitting on the roof of Barry’s car in Sutton Park, listening to ’Check Your Head’, watching the world go by. The appearance is reminiscent of a melancholy kick flip shove it in Lichfield Precinct before building up the confidence to do the big steps. Kicks ass.

Mellow. Yeah boy. This is simply delightful, not full on kick your face off DIPA but relaxed, cool seductress that will smash your face off if you abuse her. She’s a devil in disguise. I love her.

Small bottle. Slightly chilled. Would definitely have again. Highly recommended beer..

Prokroustis (745) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - APR 5, 2013
Dark amber body with a small tan head. Mellow hoppy aroma with caramel, grapefruit, lemon, honey, mango and plum. Medium body with average carbonation. Relatively balanced malty flavour with caramel, grapes, resin, mango and other fruits as well as a bitterness with mainly grapefruit. Very nice.

330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a small white head that leaves very little lacing on the glass. Aroma is pleasant with some caramel and citrus. Taste is a light fruity and malty sweetness with a light grassy and citrus hop bitterness. Quite a decent and tasty brew for the style.

33 cl bottle bought at the brewery outlet during Borefts festival. Slow gusher. Hazy deep sparkling nut brown colored body with a large fluffy beige head. Aroma is laden with wooden yeast and fruity hops. Over-carbonated to the point of interfering with the taste impressions. Not much is given away before a papery bitterness overpowers the tongue. Alcohol is prominent. Shaking the glass to rid the beer of some carbonic acid allows for much more malty notes to appear. Ripe plums and marmelade too. Unbalanced but with appealing characteristics too.
