Bottle. Coppery Amber in colour. Very fruity (very grapefruity and orange marmalady citrus). Very hoppy (piney, oily, resinous and grassy hops. Spicy (peppery) & Yeasty (lots and lots of floaties and sediment). Malty (caramel & toffee). Creamy & smooth. Sweet fruity with bitter hoppy edge. Very nice DIPA. (2008)

Amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, malt and dried fruits. Sweet flavour of raisins, malts and over-ripe fruits. Finish dried fruits, raisins, malt and caramel.
Really retired, but aged nicely, reminding of an American Strong Ale now.
(from 33cL bottle @ ZZT VII, Oirschot. Thanks for sharing, Ceasar!)

@ZZT VII, oranje/bruine kleur, witte schuimkraag, ruikt en smaakt caramel, beetje hoppig, heel zoet, hout

PotjeBier (3735) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2013
Backlog. Bottle (young) @ PRZH Winterbierfest 2008. Amber to brown color. Big dense head, slowly receding. Aroma’s of hops, resin, sweet fruit, a bit herbal, a bit malty. Flavor is medium sweet&bitter, with acidity from the hops. Quite alcoholic. Medium to full bodied. Medium bitter finish with long retention. Not the bitterness I expected, but lots of hoppiness in the aroma.

Benzai (16690) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAY 25, 2013
Bottle shared by Caesar @ ZZT VII. Hazy reddish color, some floaties, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, some hops (a bit old but that’s obvious), raisin, overripe fruits, nuts, caramel, light to moderately bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Maybe not a DIPA anymore but it’s very nice as an American Strong Ale.

DutchDrebus (6197) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAY 25, 2013
Bottle @ ZZT7 thx to caesar. Hazy orange to ruby colour with a small head. Smells raisins, sweet, overripe fruits, wood. Tastes raisins, sweet, barley wine, alcohol, malts, slightly hoppy. Medium to full body, soft carbo.

kermis (14566) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 25, 2013
Tasted at ZZT 7 thanks to Caesar. Pours cloudy amber with an off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, rye, toffee, the hops are gone with this age, seems more like an American strong ale now. Flavor is over moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

En single Hop med mycket citrus i arom och smak, lång eftersmak men inte den riktiga besöken för att förtjäna toppbetyg ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange with no head. Aroma of massive hops and some malt.Taste is hoppy and quite floral. Probably past it’s best, not the best example of De Molen I’ve ever had.
