Bottle. Pours a clear and dark copper beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, sweetness, fruit and yeast. The flavor follows the nose with additional alcohol. The palate is sweetness with alcohol. Overall a beer just below average. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAY 24, 2011
(bottle, 75cl) Unclear, dark amber to brown colour with a beige and tall foamy head. Yeasty, sweet and mildly roasty malty aroma with leather and herbal, also slightly subtle fruity hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Robust dark, moderately roast-malty taste with notes of leather, dark fruits/berries and hints of cacao; moderately sweet and toasty bitter malty taste with present herbal and subtle fruity hops, accompanied by a touch of alcohol. 18.V.11 hallinghansen (3192) - Odense SV, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2011

Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, sugar, alcohol, light berries. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dusty, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to light lively. Not the best De Molen beer, high alcohol and no benefit the normal Borefts Bock works better !
From 750ml bottle at the Cask Pub & Kitchen on 13 May 2011. Dark brown colour. Rich, sweet malt aroma. Also had some elements that I describe as "baked bean" in the aroma - that is vegetable-like but more savoury, almost "meaty" than boiled cabbage. Better on the palate - deep fruity malt (prunes and plums) with some toffee-ish caramel. Some sweetness but not too sticky. Mouthfeel is quite heavy with a bit of an alcohol burn. All in all though not one of my favourite De Molen beers. Not a huge fan of the style anyway to be honest.

Bottle, bought @ HJ Hansen, Odense.Dedollewaitor (16159) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2011
Pours light muddy brown with a big, frothy, beige head. Fine duration. Aroma has chocolate, citrus, apricot and a milky touch to it. Light caramel as well. Medium to high carbonation, dry and quite fresh palate. Flavour has chocolate that is a bit milky. Sadly there is a quite firm vegetable note as well as a bit of cardboard. Some good fruity hops though. Mildly vinious. Not the best De Molen ever.
Bottle @ Odense Tasting, May 2011. Pours unclear amber with a red hew and a small creamy white head on top. Nose is fruit, berries and caramel. Flavor is yeast, caramel and liquorice. Lively carbonation. Quite yeasty..
