Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - FEB 3, 2011
A clear dark brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma is spicy sweet, fruits, with some bread notes. The taste is sweet with bitter. It has spices in it with notes of alcohol. The aftertaste is bitter with spices.

NoiZe (2323) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - JAN 16, 2011
Black colored brew. Malty aroma. Flavor has a good amount of sweet malts, caramel, some smoke and alcohol.

caesar (7162) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 6, 2011
Bottled. Dark brown color, short head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Caramel, toffee. Malty taste, quite bitter, dry. Bit more of everything compared to german doppelbocks.

jerohen (2296) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2011
Bottled, thanks caesar. Dark brown colored, small brown head. Malty and hoppy nose. Malty flavor, some caramel. Very alcoholic. Ok beer, but i’m a bit puzzled what kind of beer the brewer was trying to make here.

Proeferius (128) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 22, 2010
[email protected], dark color with nice head, aroma of smoke, average carbonation, complex brew.

bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 18, 2010
Corked bottle. Dark brown color. Bready roastaroma with chocolate and a hint of peat. Full bodied yet bonedry. Thick mouthfeel. Slightly alcoholic but loads of flavor. Rye bread, malt, grassy hops, hints of peat and butter. Excellent!

JorisPPattyn (10005) - Ursel, BELGIUM - DEC 6, 2010
Dense, cream-brown head over dark cola-coloured beer; shards of lace. Alcohol & dark candi sugar nose, bit of parsley and sweet, dark bread. Much drier, leafier than the nose suggested. Still a bit of sweetness there, partly candi-like, partly liquorice. Bit of breadcrust, and dry-on-the-verge-of-bitterish. Quite slick, medium to well-bodied; obvious alcoholwarming. A typical De Molen beer: it is a Doppelbock... in a way - but good.

BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - NOV 29, 2010
75cl, new Dutch brew Anno 2010, from Den Bierzolder Heule, complex brew, heavy, yet balanced, cloudy, rocky head, good brew

Otje (678) - Veendam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 28, 2010
I expected a sweet bockbeer, but this one is bonedry, and i loved it. Huge creamy head. Complex taste and nose, almost like a rochefort 8. Long lingering finish of fruits and raisins. Very tasty. On tap at the brewery.
