Bottle at home. Pours hazy orange, nose is grassy, light coffee, taste has more coffee, dry, bitter. motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 24, 2014
bottle, perhaps a bit past its prime which might explain which apart from a smidgeon of coffee i detected some baked beans. breakfasty enough, i suppose; some light citric tang but not particularly pleasant mansquito (6902) - Nueva York, New York, USA - NOV 1, 2014
The Beer Store, Southampton PA: So this bottle might be a little past its prime, but my impressions of it did not differ markedly from those of the previous reviewers. In any case, it pours a murky orange with a white head. It really blew up on me and squirted in my eye. Aroma is coffee grounds and peppers. Taste is spicy and full of coffee grounds. This is more an interesting beer than a good one. Similar to a few others I have had like Victory Village. eduardovl (1474) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
330ml bottle served in a pint glass.
A: Pours a cloudy orange color forming a huge bubbled soapy yellow head with excellent retention and tons of lacings formed and left in the glass
S: Strong coffee and malts in the nose. Smokey, somehow. Brown sugar. Grassy hops
T: Strong notes of coffee in the mouth too. Now I understand its name, they’ve put a lot of coffee in it. :) Dry upfront. Dry, in overall. Caramel malts and nice hops bitterness. Dry hopped with Amarillo hops, a win-win strategy
M: Light body. Good carbonation. Coffee and grassy hops aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Quite peculiar beer. Nice combination of Red Ale and coffee. De Molen quality. Recommended

Deep golden orange color, HEAVY foam-ish head. Thick white lacing that hangs on the glass. Aroma is very herby with coffee notes. Tastes very herbal with mild coffee tastes. Overall, an interesting as all hell beer!

Bottle - Vintage 2011 - Coffee and some spice. Clear gold with a decent white head. Coffee and abit of spice heat on the throat. Not terribly good. Beerhunter111 (22512) - P´Castle, GERMANY - APR 24, 2014
330ml Flasche. Trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig, Kaffee, Karamell. Geschmack röstmalzig, Kaffee, angenehmer bitter Abgang. Cerbier (849) - - APR 22, 2014
0,75l Flasche. Goldenes-orangenes Bier mit großer,cremiger, weißer Schaumkrone. Man riecht etwas malziges, nußiges. Man schmeckt den Kaffee eindeutig heraus, dies harmonisiert sehr gut mit dem Bier, vor allenm das Hopfenbittere mit dem Kaffeebitterem. TOLL! kalervo (1031) - FINLAND - MAR 23, 2014
Really quite different. Overwhelming foamy top, roasted taste (maybe from coffee?). Quite bitter, a bit thin. Interesting. annunz123 (967) - Taunton, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Strong coffee aroma, with some caramel and fruit. Flavor is bitter coffee, and bready malt, with some bottom of the cup bitterness in the finish. Definitely different.
