Hazy orange colour, huge off-white creamy head (due to problems with tap preassure). Aroma is very chili like (lots of coffee?), malts and some slight hoppyness. Flavour is coffee, malts, fruits and some slight spicy notes. Apparently it’s the coffee giving this one a quite spicy burning aroma.
Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy amber, near no head. Strong coffee and bread aroma (breakfast, indeed!). Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salty bitter finish. The strong coffee flavour dominates, clean crystal malt character reduces drinkability. Travlr (25250) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 4, 2012
Bottle. Lively stuff, but not a gusher. Hazy golden color, massive fluffy white head. Aroma of carrots, celery, salt, broccoli. Taste of yeasty! Grassy coffee. Interesting. Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2011
On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with a dense off-white head. Spicy chili-like, ashy nose - coffee of couse! Fairly light body, a dry fruitiness and again this coffeeish spicyness. The finish is dry. Actually quite fresh and quenching for what it is. 011011 madmitch76 (25009) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2011

Bottle from Bier Koning. Solo hungover tasting in my hotel room! Hazy gold - amber beer. Residual white head. Light dry palate. Pale malt with coffee. The coffee is a little roasty and very slightly smoky. The pale malt is quite strong. Trace of orange hop. Finishes semi dry and crispy. A different take on the Pale Ale Coffee style by the use of an aggressive coffee addition.
