Bottle from Ale Yeah! in Decatur, GA. Nose is fresh ale. Huge, foamy head. Dry palate. Taste is tea, full-bodied ale.

Kolor rdzawy i zmętniony, a w zasadzie jasno brązowy. Chyba pierwszy raz napotkałem nuty kawowe w jasnym piwie. Dry Hopped na finiszu wyraźnie dominuje.

On tap in amsterdam, absolutely amazing. It was so unique. it pours a light yellow, but the smell is of coffee and taste could easily be from a dark beer. So awesome, most comparable beer I have had is the cigar city cubano espresso. The taste is very coffee but very light and very smooth, Really like this one

Draft @ DeMolen on November 17th visit. Holy hell, I could have sworn this beer had hot pepper type of jalapeo in it, that it until they told me it was the Op & Top beer with an added 40kgs of coffee. Couleur ambre, col pais ocre.

330 ml bottle into tulip, bottled 8/31/2011. Pours fairly hazy golden orange color with a huge 3 finger fluffy off white head with fantastic retention that reduces to a nice thick cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing on the glass, with a good amount of carbonation streaming up. Aromas of big coffee beans, chili pepper, herbal, floral, chocolate, and caramel. Very nice and well balanced aromas with good strength. Taste of roasted coffee beans, chili pepper, herbal spiciness, caramel, and light chocolate. Good amount of peppery bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of coffee, caramel, pepper, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a bit. The pepper flavor aspect is done very well; hardly any heat noticed here, just a lot of spicy flavors. Great balance of all flavors. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol is invisible as expected for 4.4%. Overall this is a highly excellent brew from De Molen. Big flavor and balance for a session beer. Very unique, but still highly enjoyable. I look forward to trying more of their beers.

Extra points for the addition of the coffee to this golden beer. While it doesnt alter the taste all that much, it is present in the aroma, a distinction that allows it to rise above other beers of its style.

Bottle from Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Cloudy orange, with good head. Smells great - coffee and booming sweet hop intermingle and tremble. Taste is predominantly dry coffee, with just a net curtain of hops. Very smokey also. Pretty unique. Great stuff.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2012 With james, pat, pours a hazy golden, huge fluffy head with tons of clear bubbles, aromas of coffee, spicy rye, cocoa powdser. Taste is spicy, chocolatey, has some pine from the hops and espresso beans. Underrated.

Drought @ De Molen. Hazy golden pour, solid white head. Aroma of freshly ground coffee, bitter hops, some spices and a hint of citrus hops. Quite light body, but heavy flavor. Intense and still very drinkable. Nice brew.

Poured out of 330ml bottle. Deep golden orange color, HEAVY foam-ish head. Thick white lacing that hangs on the glass. Aroma is very herby with coffee notes. Tastes very herbal (I take vegetable suplements and it has a very similar taste) with mild coffee tastes. Maybe they used green coffee beans because I dont get any roasted notes. Overall, an interesting as all hell beer!
